Qbad is a burly knight, and has been training ever since he was young to increase his skills. His calm, always lazily lounging about, hides his true skill with the short, stout sword he carries at his hip. Traveling as a free spirit, an ironic smile on his face, his most distinguishing characteristic is his left eye, or lack thereof, a long scar running along his cheek.

He is very fond of calling himself the 'one eyed lion', while others say that he would be best served with the nickname of 'Qbad full of hot air'. This name stuck, as he is known by most under it.

Although he is a braggart, he is a very adept swordsman, albeit one with unsavory habits. He lives for women and drink, not at first sight for his Kingdom, which makes him an original Shogun in charge of 10 000 men.

After the lost battle of Atoropatene, Qbad started wandering around Pars, eventually arriving in the northern province of Dairam, where he, along with the young bowman Merlein, helped to save Maruyamu Princess Irina from Lusitanian forces. But, contrary to Merlein, he left Irina's side to continue going through Pars.
